Alternate Backlinks

A Backlink links a Variable in the Advice text to the question where the user can modify the input. Usually, an Input Request is associated with a single Variable. For example, the question "How old are you?" is associated with the Age_Now Variable.

Today, we’re introducing a new feature that enhances our system’s flexibility—the Alternate Backlink. To illustrate, consider this latest example: Thanks to the alternate backlink, “How old are you?” can now be associated with both ‘Age_Now’ and ‘Current_Age ‘.

This Alternate Backlink is available in the API as the backlinkAlt property within the forms[]. See API Inputs and Updates for more information.
